Miranda recalls the collapse of her family structure during the corruption and terrorism times. After thirteen years, Miranda is in the urgency to look for her missing father, since his blood type can save the life of his younger brother, Tomás. She undertakes an uncertain search, against time, and travels to Arequipa where he has been seen. She realizes that his father is hidden in a remote town waiting for the prescription of his penalty. Saul, a young hydraulic engineer, accompanies Miranda on this journey that triggers some memories. Together they will discover a region hit by the drought and will witness, small processions, magical rituals done by peasants to diminish God´s punishment. Miranda will be confronted by this events that will prepare her to the encounter to her father.
